Another Baby Ava!

For my first session this morning, I met Baby Ava. I have photographed so many Ava's here lately! This Ava is my 3rd in about a month, and I have another session with an Ava coming up soon! This little Miss Ava is five months old and so very precious! She has the prettiest green eyes. Mom - I hope you enjoy your preview!

I haven't used my teacup in a long time. I'm so glad I remembered it! Ava is so stinkin' cute here!

Look at that sweet smile!

Isn't she precious here? Look at those eyes!
Probably one of my favorites from the session. It is just as pretty in color. I had a hard time deciding which one to preview!

Little Miss Ava

Today was a beautiful day for a session - overcast and 81 degrees. Perfection! Little Miss Ava is so pretty and sweet. She was so easy to photograph - we were done within the hour! She absolutely loved my petti and danced the whole time she was in it! I can't wait for Ava's cake smash and one year photos. It won't be long now!

Here's Ava jammin' in her pettiskirt!
I love the simplicity of this image. Beautiful.

I think this one is great. Look at the bubbles floating around Ava.

This is one of my favorites. Ava is looking up at her daddy here. You think she likes him just a little bit? :)

My two kiddos

You would think that since I'm a photographer that I would take pictures of my babes all the time, right? Nope! They are so neglected! Today, I decided to go scope out the Splash Pad in Smyrna as a possible new location for sessions. The upside to this? My kiddos would get to hang out with their mom and have fun instead of just watching me edit sessions on the computer all day! Brooklyn had soooooooooooooo much fun! Jake - not so much!

As for the Splash Pad, I think this would be a great place to take some fun, candid "not-the-norm" pictures. Let me know if you're interested - it's only open until September 8th.

Aww . . . poor baby!

This image just grabs my heart. Look at Big Sis comforting her Bubby! Right here, Brooklyn is saying, "It's ok, Bubby. It's ok, Bubby. It's ok, Bubby."
She had SO much fun!

I love how the water is all around her in this image!

She was getting soaked here!
Time to go home . . .
Ok, Jake's much happier now that he's dry and has his Pappy!
Posting these images of my kiddos makes me realize how lucky I am to have them, and how lucky I am to be able to do what I do and stay home with them. I love watching them grow everyday and interact with each other. I promise to include more photos of them on here!
Thanks for looking,
Heather

Little Baby to Big Man

Last night (after having to reschedule twice due to unforeseen circumstances), I met up with DJ and his awesome parents. I do believe the 3rd time was the charm! His parents are so much fun - so obviously in love with each other and their little man. I was lucky enough to photograph DJ when he was just a tiny 3 month old whose head fit completely in Daddy's palm! DJ is definitely a big man now, and still has those amazing blue eyes! He may be a big man, but he is definitely NOT a fan of grass!

Mom and Dad - enjoy your preview, and I can't wait to photograph Baby #2! :) :)

I love this family portrait. I am going to work on finding a way to make the grass greener! This one could definitely be your canvas!
So, the finger in the mouth was an obvious theme of the night! I think it's cute though!

I'm really lovin' this one . . . again the finger in the mouth!

What a sweet family!

Look at those baby blues!

Daddy loves his DJ!

I'm thinking that this one here would look great on canvas too. I love the eye contact.

M Family

Tonight, I met the Molchan family. It was such a nice night for a session - not the upper 90s we've been dealing with here lately. I don't think that I even broke a sweat tonight! The boys were so sweet. I think I made some friends for life! Mom, Dad, Grandma, and Grandpa - enjoy your preview!

This is one of my favorites from the session. These two boys were so much fun!

We were playing peek-a-boo here!

Look at that sweet face. . .
I just had to include this one in the preview. Blaine wanted a picture with a "corndog" - aka, a cattail!

Mr. Chase

This morning, I met Chase and his family. He is only a few days younger than Jake, but has sooooooo much more hair! He was such little gentleman. We got so many good shots today. I bought some cool new baskets and stools that I got to try out with Chase. I really, really like them! Mom, Dad, and Grandma - thanks for choosing me to be your photographer and enjoy your preview!
I love this one in b&w.

This Ernie was Chase's mom's when she was little. Isn't that grin the cutest?
Can't you just see how happy Chase makes his Grandma?
One of my favorites from the session. Check out the cool stool!

Mr. D

Yesterday, I photographed Mr. Drew for the third time. Drew has been coming to me since he was 3 months old. He is now a big boy of almost 10 months. He was such a joy to photograph. I can't wait to do Drew's one year session! It won't be long now!

This is Drew's pet fish, Vol. I think I may have to invest in a fish myself because I think this picture is TOO cute!!!
