I'm back!

Hello everyone!

I'm back - a few shades darker and peeling like crazy from my sunburn on the first day at the beach! We had a great time and were part of a sweet wedding of two amazing people. I promise I'll be blogging images from the wedding (as well as some of my own kiddos) just as soon as I have time to catch up on all my phone calls and emails!

But most importantly, I have some contest winners to announce!

Home Display contest - I received lots of great pictures showcasing my work around your homes. It is a wonderful thing to see my work decorating your walls! Here are a few samples from the winner:

And their gorgeous framed canvas:

Katherine Miller and her 8 month old baby! Please contact me ASAP to schedule your session.

And because I'm such a cool person (!) I also drew two more names for 1/2 off session fee! These winners are: Kristen Elrod and her 4 year old and 10 month old, and Kay Duncan and her 11 and 15 year olds. Please contact me ASAP to schedule your session.

If you entered into the drawing at Tiaras and Tadpoles and book a session by October 31, you will receive a free 5x7 of your favorite image!

Here is the long awaited Part II of the Mueller-South wedding.

Isn't she the most beautiful bride evah? :)

Megan and Josh didn't want to see each other before the wedding, so we did a "First Touch" instead of a "First Look".

Next will be the ceremony and reception images (fun!) and Megan and Josh's private session. I CANNOT wait to show you all those!

Pretty | Murfreesboro Newborn Photography { frogs and faeries }

Meet Madelyn Dare, or Madi Dare for short. I love the name, Mom and Dad! Madi was 7 days old yesterday, and quite possibly the best newborn I have ever photographed. She was out cold when I got there, never woke up once, and only pee-peed at the very end! And she was full of smiles! Perfect!

Mom and Dad love her so very, very much. I can see why because I very quickly fell in love her too!

Daddy is so enamored with his daughter. This is probably one of my favorite Daddy and Baby shots ever.

The entire family is Kentucky Wildcat fans. That's actually where Mom and Dad met!

I love how tiny she looks in this one. Oh, and the Sharpei puppy rolls - love it!

Hangin' with Mr. Cooper | Murfreesboro Baby Photographer { frogs and faeries }

Ok, I couldn't resist the title! :) He, he, he . . .

I met up with Cooper and his parents on Tuesday. If you all will remember back to Tuesday, it was nice and overcast with the sun peaking through the clouds randomly throughout the day. All up until 6:30 - our session start time. The sky instantly became dark, the wind was whipping leaves through the sky, and rain was imminent. We decided to shoot until the rain came thinking that we might get 10-15 minutes. Well, what do you know - 45 minutes and three wardrobe changes later, we're done with the session, and the raindrops were just beginning to fall.

Cooper was the best 12 month old - EVER!!! If I could have modeled the perfect baby for a portrait session out of clay, it would have been Cooper. He is such a happy, cool little man. Every time I smiled or talked to him, he would grin so big! He didn't mind changing clothes. He was just happy to be there! Love him!

And he's one gorgeous baby to boot!

Clint and Megan | Murfreesboro Engagement Photography { frogs and faeries }

Man, I'm on a roll today! Must have eaten my Wheaties this morning!

Clint and Megan are a wonderful, fun couple. I met them for Megan's maternity session a few months back, and then had an awesome session with little Brody when he was only 4 days old. Megan and Clint will be getting married in just 6 short weeks, and I CANNOT wait for the wedding! It is going to be all hot pink and black deliciousness! Is that even a word? :)

We met at the new park area in town to start with some pics with Brody and then ventured to downtown Nashville.

I love, love, love this family pic! How funky and modern!

Riley - 3 Months | Middle Tennessee Baby Photography { frogs and faeries }

I've been working my little booty off this week to get galleries ready, blog sneak peaks up, orders packaged, etc because in just 5 short days, I'm heading off to the beach for a whole week! I'm so in need of this vacation, it's not even funny! No phone calls, no computer for 7 days, just sand, sun, and nice frosty cool beverages. Oh, I can almost feel my toes in the sand right now! It's not quite all pleasure though, two very great friends of ours are getting married right on the beach. As their wedding gift, I offered to photograph the wedding for them. I can't wait to create some awesome images for them!

Anyhoo, I'm rambling. This sneak peak is from a cutie patootie 3 monther named Riley. She has the most amazing big brown eyes. She is going to grow up to be a heartbreaker. Watch out, Daddy! :)

Aren't they the cutest little family?

I love how light and airy this next one is:
