One More Hot Mama | Murfreesboro Maternity Photography {frogs and faeries}

Here's one more hot mama for you! Megan's mom bought her the Mommy and Me package for Mother's Day, so we'll be seeing another cute baby in a few short weeks! I love maternity sessions. It's a great opportunity to get to know the parents-to-be, and this couple was so cute! They just let me talk and talk and talk. :)

Mom and Dad (and Grandma!) enjoy your sneak peak. I can't wait to meet Brody!

I love the blue here!

Soon | Murfreesboro Maternity Photography {frogs and faeries}

Wow! It's amazing how behind you can get when you take a few days off to enjoy a holiday weekend with your family! I'm swimming in laundry and dirty dishes, not to mention editing! Agh! But I'm working on it! What's that little white speck I see? Oh, it must be the light at the end of the tunnel! :) he, he, he . . .

Anyhoo, I met a great couple on Saturday. This Mama and Daddy-to-be purchased our Mommy and Me package, so we'll get to see a brand new baby in just a few weeks. I'm betting she has a head full of dark hair too!

One of my personal faves. Isn't Mom just gorgeous???
Dunn2

Mom and Dad - take it easy, get lots of rest these last few weeks, and I'll be seeing you and Little Missy soon!

Those of you that had sessions last week, like I said, I'm workin'! I should have your sessions up shortly.

I Do - Union Station Hotel | Wedding Photography {frogs and faeries}

Each and every day, I think of what a lucky girl I am. I'm doing a job that I LOVE. You know that saying/question that supposedly identifies your ideal job - What would you do everyday if you won the lottery/money was no object? I can honestly say that I wouldn't change a thing. I get to meet great people, travel to interesting places, and create memories that will last families a lifetime. What more could a girl ask for? :)

Yesterday, I had the wonderful opportunity to photography Mike and Mindy's wedding at Union Station in Nashville. This is an amazing hotel - a wonderful spot for a small, intimate wedding. This couple is so much fun! I truly feel like I have made lifelong friends as well as some of my greatest supporters. They were up for anything, and we got some great images as a result!

Mike and Mindy - thank you so much for including me in your special day. I had a great time with you all. Enjoy your sneak peak!

Normally, I save my favorite image until the very end (it's all about the suspense, right?) but this one just can't wait. I LOVE it!

That's right - he's one lucky dog!

The ceremony was so relaxed and fun!

It's back! | Nashville Child Photography {frogs and faeries}

Along with spring comes the green chair! He's back in all his glory! Over the winter, I was also able to adopt rose and light blue siblings for him, so be on the lookout for those as well!

Miss Emily and her mom met up with me at Cheekwood Botanical Gardens this afternoon. If you're not familiar with Cheekwood, it is museum and park located in Belle Meade. It is an awesome place this time of year for portraits.

We met up for Emily's 2 year portraits. This age can be very tricky. You definitely never know what to expect, and I usually get a good work-out! I could not have asked for a better toddler! Emily was so much fun - no diva moments at all! Thanks, Emily!

This little girl is a looker. I can just see Daddy now, sitting on the front porch cleaning his shotgun to scare away all of the boys that are going to have crushes on Emily! At least you have a few more years, Daddy!

I left this session sweaty, grass-stained, and thirsty, but all in a day's work, right? :) I have so, so many images that I want to share with everyone that I'm going to have to split them b/t here and FaceBook. So, hop on over for another sneak peak from this session!

Emily loved the wah-wah:

Cake Smash Part 2 | Murfreesboro Baby Photographer {frogs and faeries}

2 cake smashes in one weekend = lots of fun! Mr. Hunter enjoyed his cake smash more than any baby I've ever seen! He was so eager to get to his cake that Mom had to hold him back while I got into shooting position!

Hunter's fist in this one just cracks me up!

Literally - cake SMASH!

Cake Smash | Tennessee Baby Photographer {frogs and faeries}

Madi came in yesterday for her cake smash session. It doesn't seem that long ago that Madi was here for her newborn session. I know you'll recognize Madi. She has the most amazing lashes and sweetest smile. Great baby! I love watching "my babies" grow up. It's amazing how much they change from each session.

Eye Lashes and a Swirl | Lewisburg Newborn Photography {frogs and faeries}

Meet beautiful baby Anna. She has gorgeous lashes and a to die for swirl in her hair that Mom imagines she'll curse later in life! Baby Anna was definitely a rock star diva today making us work on HER schedule. :0) After several swaddles, rockings, and bottles (milk for Anna and Mello Yello for me!) we finally got her good and sleepy. All that work DEFINITELY paid off!

Know anyone that is expecting twins soon? If so, send them my way! You all know how much I love my newborns, and I'm itching to get my hands on some twinkies! I'm issuing a casting call for a newborn session with twins. Casting call is being held in search of two separate sets of twins. Two lucky recipients will receive a free newborn session with the option to purchase prints from the session at a 10% discount. *Please note that casting call sessions are designed to accomplish certain poses/ideas the photographer has in mind. If time allows, additional poses will also be used. **Babies must be two weeks of age or younger or no more than two weeks out of the NICU.

And just one more from my recent newborn session:

Little Ladybug | Tennessee Newborn Photography {frogs and faeries}

Meet sweet MK, her Mama's little ladybug. I traveled to Clarksville this morning for Baby MK's newborn session. She was born just 7 short days ago. Talk about a great baby. She only cried out a few times, but that's nothing that her paci wouldn't fix! Mom and Dad are such nice folks, and it was very evident that MK is the light of their lives. Thank you for inviting me into your home and choosing me to document this special time for you.

Mom - Happy First Mother's Day!

I'll be honest - this one makes my almost non-existent baby fever flare up! Love that she is holding onto Daddy's finger!

Mom's grandmother made this bonnet in hopes of MK's arrival someday! Isn't it beautiful?
McDonald6

McDonald5

MK has the squishiest cheeks and lips that put Angelina Jolie to shame! Anyone remember that part in Finding Nemo where Dori sees the little jellyfish and says, "And I shall name you Squishy." (or something along those lines?) That's my new name for you, MK - Squishy. :)

McDonald2

And to all mothers out there - Happy Mother's Day! Take it easy and let the kiddos take care of you on Sunday! :)
