Harper | Murfreesboro Newborn Photography { frogs and faeries }

Sweet baby Harper . . . I thought maybe, just maybe, I had finally met my match. When I got to Harper's house, she had a full tummy and was sound asleep. We got some amazing family images right away while Harper slept.

And a few images of her on black:

But, sometime in between moving from family set-up to the set-up for just Harper, she began to stir. Mom fed her again, and I thought we'd be good to go. But Harper just couldn't settle into a deep sleep. With newborns, it's all about patience. A deep, sound sleep is a must to fold and bend them into all the cute little positions. Each time I would lay Harper down, she'd let out a little squeal and start to wiggle. I just couldn't get her to sleep!!

Rather than take ho-hum images of our little wiggle worm, I decided to come back again in a few days in the hopes that Harper would be a good little sleeper that day. Definitely the right decision to make. Our little lady was fast asleep when I got there and never woke up!

And (as if you couldn't tell from above) did I mention just how gorgeous she is??
