Love is in the Air | Middle Tennessee Engagement Photography {frogs and faeries}

Last night, I met up with a fun couple who are getting married in less than a week! We've had their wedding booked for months, but haven't been able to hook up for their engagement session until now. We had such a good time trecking through the woods - we even saw a snake fall out of a tree! Ugh! Battling caterpillars and flying bugs, we found some really great spots. I'll apologize in advance because this is a LARGE showcase! I just love them so much that I had to share them all with you.

I am so excited to be photographing J and M's wedding on Saturday. Can't wait, guys!

Now, I'm off to prepare my newborn sneak peak from my session this morning. Can't wait to show them off! This sweet baby's parents were up for anything, and I got to try so many new things!

Mohawk | Middle Tennesee Baby and Family Photographer {frogs and faeries}

I had such a rockin' session yesterday. When Baby Cooper got out of the car, and I spotted his mohawk, I was stoked! You all know I love a good mohawk! Hunter | Murfreesboro Baby Photographer {frogs and faeries}

We had originally scheduled Hunter's session for Friday at 1:00. At about 12:20, I called Hunter's mom to talk about rescheduling since the weather was looking bad. Thank goodness we did, or they would have been out during the tornado!

We met up for a quick session yesterday before I left to go out of town for Easter. Hunter was a little slow to warm up, but once he did, boy was he a ham!

Madison Claire | Middle Tennessee Baby Photographer {frogs and faeries}

It's been 4 months since Madison Claire's newborn session, and she has grown so much! She is such a pretty baby. And let me tell ya - Madison Claire is one of those little buggers who smiles so pretty at me, and as soon as I bring the camera back to my eye, turns all serious! They have to be thinking - what is that big black thing in front of me! Even with all the big ole serious looks, we got some outstanding images!

I'm in the process of creating a Signature Series line of images here at Frogs and Faeries that really showcase the emotions and relationships between parent and child. The Signature Series line of images will all be in black and white and mounted on a stand-out frame that comes ready to hang.

I asked Mom and Dad if they would be interested being models for me, and they were so nice to agree. This image was actually shot while Mom and Dad were trying to be serious, but I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the feeling of this one! Mom and Dad - as a thank you, I'm having this one printed as a gift to you!

Sweet Brown Eyes | Middle Tennessee Baby Photographer {frogs and faeries}

Baby R came today for her 6 month session. These sessions are always so much fun. I love this age. Baby Reygan is absolutely stunning! She has the most amazing brown eyes. And lashes for days!

I'll be working with Mom, Dad, and Baby Reygan again next week to create the face of Frogs and Faeries Signature Series. Keep your eyes on the blog for the release of our Signature Series Images!



If you have a baby girl, you know that this is one of my favorite images to create for you! I just think it is so sweet!

I had a fun session this morning with Miss Katelyn. I just love her chubby cheeks!









I've got another session to add from today, but I'm off to dinner with a friend. Check back later tonight or in the morning for beautiful Reygan!

I want to say thank you to everyone that has kept my family in your thoughts and prayers these past few months that my father-in-law has been so sick. I appreciate it more than words can say.

In the end though, it was just too much for his body to handle. We said goodbye to him today at 12:20 pm. All of his family was with him when he passed.

Daddy, Granddaddy, Mike -

You will be greatly missed. You were a wonderful father and the best grandfather I could ask for for my children. Brooklyn and Jake simply adore you. I also couldn't have asked for a better person as a father-in-law. You always told me that I wasn't your daugher-in-law, but your daughter. I love you.

Since you and Brooklyn loved to dig in the garden so much, we are going to buy her a tree to plant in her "Granddaddy Garden." We will all miss you so much, but we know that you are in a much better place now watching down on us and waiting for us to join you one day.

We love you.
