Happy Birthday, Baby | Middle Tennessee Baby Photographer (frogs and faeries}

I can't believe it's been almost a year since I met Madi and her awesome parents. She is still just as beautiful as the day I met her. We met up a few weeks ago for Madi's cake smash, and then again tonight for her "official" one year session. You know that old song, "It's My Party, and I'll Cry if I Want to?" Well, I believe that was Madi's theme song for tonight! :) She definitely had us all sweatin' and workin'!

It's a good thing I had my new assistant with me. That's right - I said ASSISTANT! I feel so important now! he, he, he! Meet Mary Lauren. Mary Lauren is a native Murfreesboran who's studying Music Education at Belmont University. She's home for the summer and will be helping me out at various sessions and at weddings. Mary Lauren has a great way with kiddos, and Madi just loved her.

Isn't she just the cutest thing?

Mary Lauren got some great action shots tonight. A lot of you have said that you enjoy a peek into my world from time to time, so here you go!
