Ava's Almost One!

I had a fun session tonight with Ava and her family as well as another family you'll recognize (I'll post their session in a little bit.). Ava is definitely an on-the-go girl! She has been walking already for a few months, and let me tell ya - she is fast! I had fun chasing after her.

She has the prettiest deep blue eyes.

This rock was our saving grace! Ava enjoyed walking around it and climbing on it, so I was able to get some really great shots because of it!

I just love this new lens and the light it captures!

Isn't this scene just gorgeous?

Half-way through our session, Ava took a tumble - right onto the muddy ground! I bet you couldn't tell in her pictures though, could you? Mom and Dad did a great job of cleaning her up!

The Young Family

Yesterday, I had a session with the gorgeous Young family during the Fiber Festival at Cannonsburgh. Trust me - that wasn't intentional! Even though it was so crowded at Cannonsbugh, we had the best session. I just got a new lens and used it for the first time with this family, and I have to say, I am LOVIN' this bad boy! It is awesome! Just check out the images for yourself . . .

I love the light here, and the smile on Big Sis Taylor's face.

I love, love, love this one! While I was taking this one, I got all sentimental. I reminds me of how Brooklyn carries her dog around with her everywhere.

Isn't she beautiful? I'm takin' it back a little here, but I think Taylor looks kinda like DJ from Full House.

See, I told ya this lens was great!

Wow, wow, wow!

This may be my favorite of Taylor.

Precious!

Too cute!

Some of Mom and Dad

I think this one will look really good in bw too, but I just love the contrast of the wall and door.

3 month old Carter (not Hunter!) He, he, he!

Hunter had his three month session this morning. He has really changed in the 3 months since his newborn session. Check out how tiny he was then! Hunter was such a happy baby today and so much fun! Thanks again, Mom and Dad! Enjoy!

So, are you yawning yet? :)

New contest!

Funky Chair Contest!

I'm always on the lookout for old, vintage, funky chairs to use in your sessions, but just seem to be a day late or a dollar short! So, I've decided to get you all involved! The best way to do that? A contest, of course!

The winner of the contest will receive a free spring session!

Details:

Contest Dates: Begin your hunt now! Contest will end November, 30th. At that time, I'll chose my favorite chair, and the winner will swap the chair for a spring session!

Rules: Chair can be found, bought, or dug up out of your basement. To enter, you must be willing to part with the chair. The whole point of the contest is for me to get a cool new chair!

Entry: Submit a picture of your chair to me either through my website or my email (ebrooklyn704@yahoo.com). Give a little description of your chair AND (here's the teacher coming out of me!) a short paragraph explaining why your chair should win. Creativity can boost your chances of winning!

I will announce the winner on December 1st.

Good hunting!

Thatcher - isn't that a cool name?

My session this morning was with 3 month old Thatcher. I love that name! He was such a sweet baby too!

Big Brother Garrett and Thatcher

I just had to include this one. Thatcher was soooooooooo tired by this time! :)

Totally off topic!

Anyone know of someone that is wanting to get rid of two Titans tickets for Monday night's game? I am DYING to go. If you know me well, you know how big of a fan I am. I mean, Monday night, 6-0, and against the stinkin' Colts??? I HAVE to be there! I'm willing to watch the game at the WildHorse if I have to, but I would so much rather be in the stadium!

If you know of anyone that has tickets for sale, please, please, please let me know!

Go Titans!

VIP Drawing!

I haven't had my monthly drawing for a VIP gift since the first month I did it. Eeeek! Terrible, I know, but as the old saying goes, I guess it's better late than never! This month's (and September's!) drawing will be for 2 - yes, 2! You all know me, always trying to make up for slackin' - 5x5 mounted prints on easels! These are super cute and would look wonderful sitting on your desk!

As of right now, I have 4 VIPers (Spears, Geary, Durham, and Hazlett). I also have several folks who are very close to their 5 referrals (S.Owens, Kelton, Leeman), so keep spreading the word about Frogs and Faeries, and you'll be there in no time!

And the 1st winner is . . .

Denise Durham!

And the 2nd winner is . . .

Libby Spears!

Congratulations ladies! You can choose an image from any of your previous sessions, or an upcoming one.

Have a wonderful, rainy Friday!
